REVIEW

Girls Trip(2017)

I just saw this yesterday with a friend and to tell you the truth, it was absolutely hilarious. I grew up watching Queen Latifah, Jada Pinkett, and Regina hall. Tiffany Haddish was amazing as the funny as hell/silly friend she portrays. Haddish had some of the funniest lines/scenes I've ever witnessed and she played them very well. I needed a good laugh and this movie really delivered. I laughed every minute for a long time, unless something more serious was going on, and even then, I had a smirk on my face.

"Girl, you can't get no infection in your booty hole! It's a booty hole". That's just one of the  funny quotes from 2017's Girls Trip. Storyline was quite captivating. I enjoyed every scene pretty well. Seen the movie ROUGH NIGHT? Well, it is a little bit similar to Girls Trip but less funny. The flow of the story was steady, funny and entertaining all the way through. The numerous story lines of relationships between characters were threaded and woven well.

Actresses killed their role with style especially with Tiffany Haddish's character. Jada Pinkett Smith can really play "NICE" judging from how EVIL she was during her role in GOTHAM. Mike Colter without his superhuman strength(Luke Cage) plays a gentle loving-ish husband.

Forget about negative reviews from critics. This movie is great. It did have it's flaws but that didn't stop it from making $136.3 million out of $27.7 million budget.

Go see this movie and I tell ya, it will become a favorite and possibly own it on bluray.

Check it out in Silverbird cinemas! It's FIRE!
