SYNOPSIS
The events of one evening take an unexpected turn for the worst for a young boy trying to spy on his babysitter.
When a babysitter puts you to SLEEP........STAY ASLEEP! Don't be like COLE. The Babysitter is a mixed blend of both comedy and horror. It is one of those movies where you end up rooting for the bad guys because the "good guy" is so stupid and incompetent that the world would be a better place without him! Aside the poor decisions made by our protagonist, this movie is so damn GOOD and unpredictable. You will NEVER know wants going to happen next till it does and that will get you saying "Oh, I didn't see that coming".
Acting was done perfectly with the exception of Bella Thorne's character. I don't know why writers keep including Bella Thorne in horror flicks. She's terrible at that. She doesn't have that "Bad face" which makes her look EVIL. If she's a victim, GOOD but not EVIL! Samara Weaving is pretty hot but her darky character kinda fits her. Everyone killed their role pretty well especially Andrew Bachelor's character. He was so damn funny just like he was in Fifty Shades of Black.
Storyline is so absorbing you will probably not feel like BLINKING. Every scene counts especially the bloody and funny scenes.
Video effects are very realistic. Every death looks so real especially with "............" death. No spoilers remember? haha.
One flaw I noticed was about the poster error Netflix made that has everyone grinding them. Take a good look at this poster.
It is just me or does The Babysitter have two RIGHT hands? While it may look normal at first glance, if you look a bit harder, you will see that the person in the picture appears to have two right hands.
Not convinced? Try to hold an object in your left hand behind your back and imagine the difference in the position of the thumbs.

Well, as far as Photoshop fails go, this one was hard to figure out.
Anyway, back to the movie review. The Babysitter is nothing like all the babysitter movies we have come across like When A Stranger Calls back in 2006 which was quite scary by the way.
