REVIEW
I never saw the trailer of Happy Death Day so I had no idea as to what I was going to expect. Seeing the poster alone got me interested. I love horror movie flicks a lot. Remember Groundhog Day with Bill Murray back in 1993? It's similar to this movie except for the darky parts. How will you feel re-living the same day over and over again? I will surely get PISSED and maybe go crazy. Happy Death Day is astounding! No doubt! I love movies that keeps you guessing till the very end.
Well written scripts with so many interesting scenes. The actors were great especially Jessica Rothe... you won't like her at first(she was bitchy), but she grows on you as the movie goes on. The ending is the most interesting part. Every scene counts so when watching please don't even BLINK or turn around. Listen to every word and focus on the story. I know it's best to watch horror movies with friends but please make sure you watch this alone or better yet, pay attention when watching in Cinemas.
Happy Death Day is a simple movie which cost the producer $4 Million which ended up yielding $48 Million making it Happy Death Day a very successful movie.
Is it a movie you'd likely end up watch several times? HELL YEAH! It is! I found this entertaining, it has great humor and awesome suspense. Like the Scream films has a lot of twists, just when you think you know how it's gonna end, it then pulls out more surprises you just don't see coming. If you miss the old horror films with some awesome humorous moments, then Happy Death Day will fill that void for you.
I give it 9/10
